What is the BEST way to find out what is going on in school?
Purchase the RenWeb App! The cost is $5.00 per family. The best $5.00 you will spend this year! Each Sunday night, check the CALENDAR, RESOURCE DOCUMENTS, AND ANNOUNCEMENTS!
What is Buddy Family/ Mentor Dinner?
August 16th 5:30-6:30 – ALL new families and mentors invited to a casual dinner. Our seasoned families will have one-on-one time to answer any all questions from how does the car line work to how they can volunteer in the school!
How do I find out my child’s teacher?
All families will receive an e-mail by Thursday, August 17th from their child’s Homeroom Teacher. If you have not received an e-mail by this day please call the school. You can also check in at the front desk when you arrive at Get the Scoop!
What is Get the Scoop?
August 18 3:00-5:00 (families with last name A-L 3:00-4:00; M-Z 4:00-5:00)
Families are invited to come meet their child’s teacher and gather important information about the 207-18 school year. We will welcome you at the front door, and you are free to go directly to your child’s classroom. Middle school students will go directly to Homeroom. You are strongly encouraged to visit the gym (before or after your classroom visit) to learn about all of the extra activities that make SAS an incredible family environment! Bring your checkbook in case there are some goodies you’d like to purchase or special booster clubs you’d like to join! Each SAS student will receive one Pelican Snowball after their classroom visit! STUDENTS MUST BE WITH THEIR PARENTS AT ALL TIMES DURING THIS EVENT!
When should my child bring supplies to school?
The best time to bring supplies to school is Get the Scoop. Middle school students will be allowed to set up their lockers during Get the Scoop.
What is Parent Night?
August 28 6:00-8:00 (New families are encouraged to attend a Q&A with the Principal at 5:30)
This evening is for parents of students in grades K3-8th. The evening will start in the gym. You will have the opportunity to meet the St. Anne Leadership Team (SALT) and hear a few words from some very important volunteers. We will review RenWeb, communication, Parent/Student Handbook, and other general school policies. Following this opening meeting, we will have 3 rotations for you to go to your child’s classroom. The middle school presentation takes place during the first rotation.
When is High School Orientation?
On August 22nd, the high school students will receive their official schedules, receive their MacBooks, participate in Office 365 training, and end their first day with a cookout on their new campus. Parents are invited to attend at 10:00 for a Q&A session and to tour the school!
When is the first day of school?
August 22nd Grades 1-12 (Early dismissal August 22nd-23rd) August 24th K3-K5 (Early dismissal August 24th-25th)

What and when is the Woo Hoo Boo Hoo Social?
August 24th 8:00 AM in the cafeteria All parents of K3, K4, K5 students are invited to enjoy refreshments, visit with other families, and either “Woo Hoo” or “Boo Hoo” that your little one is off to school.
Do I always need my “car tag” for dismissal?
ABSOLUTELY- NO EXCEPTIONS!
What is so “nuts” about NUTS Days?
No Uniform To School- See handbook for guidelines- Once every other month- Donations for charities, etc. Students must bring at least $1.
How do we show school spirit on Spirit Days?
Students may wear ANY St. Anne T-shirt- See handbook for guidelines.
Is it important to read the Parent-Student Handbook?
Yes- from cover to cover! The St. Anne Leadership Team (SALT) revisits this each summer to update policies and procedures. It is full of very, very, very important “need to know” information!
How do I join PSA and get involved?
You already joined! We do not charge for membership- EVERY PARENT/GUARDIAN IS A MEMBER! It is mandatory that you fill out the required paperwork and volunteer at least 10 hours per year. We’d love to have you even more! There is a $10 per hour charge for every hour not served at the end of the school year. We want YOU not your money!
